Day 123: Freezing Point

Here's how it went down baby
Mouse and I tried this experiment where you can apparently freeze a cup of water within seconds. All you need is some ice with salt sprinkled on it and a small cup of water that is set in the middle of the ice cubes. You let the small cup sit in the ice till it is colder than freezing. The salt is supposed to lower the freezing point and so when you agitate the cup of water, it should instantly freeze over. I don't really know why or how this works, and thats probably why this didn't work, but we tried anyways. We set up the little experiment and watched a Jim Carrey movie while we waited for the water to chill. Then we got super disappointed when the water refused to change it's consistency after I taped on it. Pfft, stupid water.
